Dr. Sarit G. Catchatoorian, O.D.

Dr. Catchatoorian graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1994 with a Doctor of Optometry degree. He has practiced in Charlotte since 1993. He established Advance Eyecare in 1995. He recognized the need for eye care in the Ballantyne area and opened up his current location in 2001, where he practices full time.

He received his B.S. in Microbiology in 1990 from Brigham Young University and a B.S. in Visual Science in 1991 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is therapeutically certified to treat medical eye diseases and co-manage various eye surgeries, including laser eye surgery.

Dr. Catchatoorian is a member of the American Optometric Association, National Optometric Association, North Carolina State Optometric Society, and Piedmont Optometric Society. He specializes in sports vision and pediatric exams, in addition to family eye care. He is a member of the Sports Vision Section of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Catchatoorian enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He serves in his church, is active with the Boy Scouts of America, and coaches challenge soccer leagues with Charlotte United Futbol Club. He plays in adult soccer leagues in Charlotte and enjoys basketball.
